Disability Support

nannySA are now able to provide support to young people aged between 15 and 17 years of age with the current NDIS rollout.

As an Approved Provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme we can support children and young people aged from birth to 17 years by delivering supports that reflect your needs.

How can nannySA support you in reaching your individual goals?

With a person centred approach our support workers are able to assist you through the following services:

Assistance to Integrate into School and other Educational Programs:
Our support workers are able to assist children and young people in self-care in an educational setting. We can support students within the NDIS, navigate their way through educational programs. Additionally, we are also able to provide assistance in the transition to school.

Assistance with daily personal activities:
We can support our clients in the assistance of personal tasks of daily life to enable as independent living as is possible. These supports are tailored to our client needs in a range of environments including but not limited to the client's own home. Our support is available to our clients 24 hours a day and 7 days per week.

Household Tasks:
Our support workers are able to assist families in maintaining their home environment by performing essential household tasks. These tasks can include preparation of meals and household cleaning support.

Participation in community, social and civic activities:
We offer support to our clients to become actively involved in social events. Our support workers can provide support to develop our clients abilities and their involvement in recreational activities, community and social events. In addition, we can also provide Outside of School Hours Care for teenagers (13 years).

Physical Wellbeing Activities:
Our support workers are able to promote and assist our clients to engage in physical wellbeing activities including exercise and healthy diets.

nannySA is also on the Disability Services Provider Panel and is able to assist eligible families with respite.

The Hessel group is committed to providing quality advocacy to people having high support needs who are in greater need, in order to protect and advance their well-being, rights and interests both individually and collectively. To achieve this we will provide support (e.g. training, information and advice) which empowers the person to self-advocate, provide assistance (e.g. offering prompts and reminders) to assist the person raise issues with others and provide representation (e.g. acting or speaking on behalf of the person).
