As representatives of NannySA, all carers must abide by the following rules of conduct:

  • Drugs and alcohol are not permitted on premises or permitted to be consumed while on shift
  • Bullying within the workplace is not permitted
  • No smoking is allowed on shift
  • No cultural, sexual, disabilities, monetary discrimination of any kind
  • All family and personal information disclosed by individuals is to be kept confidential unless needed to be told to an authority, i.e. child abuse.
  • Only the carer is allowed on site whilst working. Friends, family or partners are not allowed to visit during a shift
  • Children are not to be taken to your home, friends’ or partners’ homes
  • Whilst working, carers are not permitted to attend personal appointments, e.g. doctor, beautician
  • Appearance always to be neat casual, with clothing appropriate to work with children always being worn. No revealing clothing or inappropriate logos or pictures are to be worn
  • No inappropriate language is ever acceptable
  • Always have a positive attitude and respond to others with warmth, compassion and gracious receptivity
  • Your behaviour reflects NannySA, Enhance Traning and Enhance Recruitment, teachers and training.
