As representatives of NannySA, all carers must abide by the following rules of conduct:
- Drugs and alcohol are not permitted on premises or permitted to be consumed while on shift
- Bullying within the workplace is not permitted
- No smoking is allowed on shift
- No cultural, sexual, disabilities, monetary discrimination of any kind
- All family and personal information disclosed by individuals is to be kept confidential unless needed to be told to an authority, i.e. child abuse.
- Only the carer is allowed on site whilst working. Friends, family or partners are not allowed to visit during a shift
- Children are not to be taken to your home, friends’ or partners’ homes
- Whilst working, carers are not permitted to attend personal appointments, e.g. doctor, beautician
- Appearance always to be neat casual, with clothing appropriate to work with children always being worn. No revealing clothing or inappropriate logos or pictures are to be worn
- No inappropriate language is ever acceptable
- Always have a positive attitude and respond to others with warmth, compassion and gracious receptivity
- Your behaviour reflects NannySA, Enhance Traning and Enhance Recruitment, teachers and training.
